With a lifetime of local knowledge, professional credentials, and a deep connection to the ocean, they bring more than experience to every charter. They share a part of Costa Rica that has always been home.
Owner, Captain and Surf Coach
Born and raised on Playa Garza, steps from where the boats depart, Jordanny Garcia has spent his life with the ocean. An avid fisherman and lifelong surfer, he learned these beaches, surf breaks, and waters by growing up on them.
Jordanny is a Certified Costa Rica Lifeguard, Certified International Boat Captain, and ISA Certified Surf Coach. That combination of training and firsthand knowledge shapes the way he leads a trip, whether he's finding the right break for a private surf charter, guiding a day of fishing, or taking guests out to explore the coast.
What Jordanny loves most is sharing his home and culture with guests. He brings warmth, confidence, and a genuine connection to the water to every experience, making the time aboard feel personal from the moment guests step onto the boat.
International Award Winning Angler and Captain
Raised in Playa Garza, Alex is a long-time favorite captain whose life has always involved the ocean. His love for the sea and natural skill on the water led him to become a Certified International Boat Captain, opening the door to a global career in sportfishing.
Alex's experience spans international waters, where he has captained and fished at an international competition level. Career highlights include being part of the 1st-place winning team at the Puerto Calero Marlin Cup in the Canary Islands, where he secured a qualifying position for the 2026 Offshore World Championship in Costa Rica. Alex has also won the Ship of Fools tournament, a local Garza tournament, several times.
Alex brings global experience home to Garza and offers guests a combination of local insights and international sportfishing expertise.

A few helpful details for your day on the water.
Reservations and payments
Secure your trip with a 50% deposit. The balance is due 72 hours before departure. Prices are in US dollars and 13% tax is added.
Weather and ocean conditions
Your captain makes the final decision on safe operating conditions. If weather requires us to cancel your tour, we'll work with you to adjust the departure time or reschedule. If neither option works, you'll receive a full refund.
Guest cancellations
Cancellations made more than 30 days before your tour receive a full refund. Cancellations made 7 to 30 days before are subject to a 25% cancellation fee. Within 7 days, the deposit is nonrefundable. View complete policy →
Change of plans
Illness, flight delays, or changes to your travel plans? Requests made more than 7 days before your tour can be rescheduled once at no additional charge, subject to boat availability. Within 7 days, we'll do our best to find a solution whenever possible.
